The Armed Forces of Ukraine will have the opportunity to receive 3,000 shells from France each month, Deputy Defense Minister of Ukraine Lieutenant General Ivan Havrylyuk said in an interview with NV.
Regarding 155-mm projectiles for French artillery systems, Havryliuk noted that France will be able to provide the Ukrainian army with the specified number of projectiles every month. This is an important step for the Ukrainian military, especially in the context of the need to replenish ammunition in connection with the ongoing war in the east of the country.
In addition, France plans to manufacture 78 Caesar artillery systems for Ukraine, six of which will be delivered in the near future. It is also an important milestone in defense cooperation between the two countries.
The Deputy Minister of Defense emphasized that these supplies from France testify to the persistent support of Ukraine by the Paris government. For Ukraine, this is not only an opportunity to obtain the necessary equipment, but also a demonstration of international solidarity and support in the face of the challenges that the country is facing today.
