Franco-German defense group KNDS opened a subsidiary in Kyiv

The Franco-German defense group KNDS, which specializes in the production of Leopard tanks and Caesar howitzers, announced the opening of a subsidiary in Kyiv. This step emphasizes the growing interest of international companies in the Ukrainian defense sector, especially in the context of ongoing aggression from Russia.

As the company reports, its branch will support cooperation between Ukrainian state institutions, the local defense industry and KNDS.

The Ukrainian Defense Plant will begin maintenance and repair of equipment, as well as production of 155-mm artillery ammunition.

In addition to Leopard and Caesar, KNDS also produces AMX-10 RC light tanks, PzH 2000 tracked self-propelled guns and Gepard self-propelled anti-aircraft guns.
