Getmantsev presses again on the FOPs: promises to raise 160 billion UAH of taxes

The chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of the Verkhovna Rada, Danilo Getmantsev again declared the "war of shadows" - this time with a special emphasis on "army needs". According to him, in Ukraine there is up to 50% of GDP in the shade, and in some sectors - more than 60%. The shadow turnover of Hetmantsev estimates at 900 billion hryvnias.

It sounds large - but the question is where these billions will look for. And the answer is obvious: not among oligarchic schemes, not in customs, but in the wallets of small and medium -sized businesses.

The plans - detinization of UAH 160 billion by the end of the year. It is almost half of the expected budget deficit of 400 billion.

The slogan "for the army" is used as a screen to turn the shadowing into fiscal pressing.

"We see a return to fiscal fundamentalism - when the state does not create conditions, but requires," - say economists.

Paradox: The head of the tax policy committee, who has been relevant to the schemes for decades, now plays the role of a “fighter with a shadow”.

Danylo Hetmantsev was repeatedly associated with:

  • Shadow patronage of customs;

  • participation in grain corridor schemes;

  • Crushing of excisable production of tobacco and alcohol.

Although there is no direct evidence in the hands, no large -scale fiscal investigation concerned the real market players with billions. Instead, the main "reforms" were the pressure on the FOPs, restrictions for cache, attempts to control card transfers and regulation of Internet trade.

The real goal of the current campaign is to redistribute resources through the control tax system. Everything happens under the slogans of patriotism, but with very landed consequences:

  • Small business is curtailed because it does not withstand bureaucratic and financial pressure;

  • the purchasing power of the population is falling;

  • A new shadow is expanding because it becomes more difficult to survive legally in war.

While the state loses taxes through offshore, smuggling and corruption in public procurement, real money is removed from the pockets of those who still work, pay salaries and keep the economy afloat.
