Oleksandr Ustinov, head of the "Voice" parliamentary faction, was accused of using expensive jewelry during her public activities. The politician appeared at one of the events with a pendant that looked like a product of the French jewelry brand Van Cleef & Arpels , known for its high cost. In particular, the cost of such a pendant is estimated at €4,300 .
The scandal erupted after the Telegram channel "Ukraine Seychsia" published a photo of Ustinova on the air of the TV channel "Rada". Around the neck of the model, a decoration similar to the Van Cleef Vintage Alhambra pendant was spotted. The cost of such jewelry on the brand's official website is €4,300.

After the publication, Ustinova reacted on her Facebook page. She stated that the jewelry is not an original, but a replica. According to her, her friend from the USA bought the pendant at one of the airports for $20.
"The administrators of these Telegram channels are ordinary cesspools. I'm not a millionaire to buy myself jewelry for that kind of money. This pendant is a copy bought by a friend," wrote the woman.
However, Ustinova did not provide any documents or photos that would confirm that the jewelry is indeed a replica.
