The head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration (OVA) Maksym Kozytskyi issued a public statement in response to accusations of corruption related to the purchase of a hotel by his father. In his response, Kozytskyi denied the allegations and provided details that he believed explained the situation.
He claims that his father bought the hotel after a new road was built there with state money.
According to him, the reconstruction of the road began in 2021, and the preparatory work for the construction of the health center - only in May 2022. The construction of the road was financed and completed in 2021-2023, and Zinovy Kozytsky became the owner of the hotel complex only in May 2024.
"These are all clear facts, confirmed by documents," wrote the head of the OVA.
Kozytskyi stated that the customer of the works from the very beginning was the Skhidnytsia settlement council, because the residents of Hirska Street in Skhidnytsia complained about the inadequate road surface.
It will be recalled that earlier journalists found out that Maksym Kozytskyi spent UAH 25 million from the budget on the road in the resort village of Skhidnytsia to the hotel built by his father, businessman Zinova Kozytskyi.
