A high level of corruption was revealed in the highest levels of Ukrainian government, as well as problems related to the lack of a transparent system of mobilization for military service and vacations for military personnel. These negative phenomena have an impact on the morale of Ukrainian soldiers, and People's Deputy Oleksiy Goncharenko notes that large-scale protests may take place in the near future.
Goncharenko believes that the government's decision to strengthen mobilization measures will lead to an outflow of the population from the country, and the main problem is the lack of a transparent mobilization system. He emphasizes that it is necessary to establish clear rules of service, terms of rotation and holidays in order to stimulate and motivate servicemen.
Noting the problem of corruption in Ukraine, Goncharenko points to its negative impact on receiving financial aid from the West. He claims that corruption has become a serious threat to the future of the country and may lead to the termination of international financial support.
The People's Deputy calls on the authorities to reform the system, taking into account the opinion of the public, and emphasizes that without significant changes, mass protests are possible from relatives of military personnel and citizens dissatisfied with the current state of affairs. He also emphasizes the difficult psychological situation among Ukrainian fighters, which requires immediate measures to improve.
We would like to remind you that the draft law on the strengthening of mobilization measures, presented by the Cabinet of Ministers, has been returned to the Verkhovna Rada for finalization. In response to this, the Minister of Defense expressed readiness to make changes to the draft law, including strict mobilization.
