A 35-year-old resident of Lviv district was detained in Lviv, who was engaged in illicit circulation of ammunition. This was reported in the regional police department.
The man already had a criminal record and, nevertheless, set up the sale of hand grenades, blades to them and cartridges of various calibers. Law enforcement officers documented several facts of illegal trade, after which on June 5, they detained the person involved in Railway Street in Lviv, as soon as he sold two grenades and grenades.
The ammunition was seized and submitted for examination to the research expert-criminalist center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Lviv region. The investigation finds out where the suspect received the explosives and to whom he could still supply them.
The man was notified of suspicion under Part 1 of Article 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - illegal handling of weapons, ammunition or explosives. The sanction of the article provides from 3 to 7 years in prison.
Currently, the issue of choosing a detainee of a preventive measure is underway, and the pre -trial investigation is ongoing.
