Dangerously dense fog is expected in Ukraine on November 29, which could significantly complicate traffic at night and in the morning. The Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center reports this, noting that cloudy weather with clearings and no significant precipitation will prevail throughout the country.
According to forecasters, on Saturday night and in the morning hours, most regions will be covered in fog with visibility of 200–500 meters. The Ukrhydrometeorological Center has declared a yellow level of danger, warning drivers of possible difficulties on the roads and the risk of accidents.
The temperature background on November 29 will remain quite mild. In the south, in Kirovohrad and Dnipropetrovsk regions, 3–8°C is forecast at night, 7–12°C during the day, and up to 16°C in Crimea. In the rest of the territory, the temperature at night will range from 4°C to 1°C below zero, and 4–9°C during the day. Light rain is possible in the Odessa region at night. The wind is southeast, 5–10 m/s.
In Kyiv and the region this day will also be cloudy with clearings and no precipitation. At night and in the morning, forecasters warn of fog with visibility up to 200–500 meters. The temperature in the capital at night will be 2–4° Celsius, during the day 7–9° Celsius. In the region at night from 4° Celsius to 1° Celsius, during the day 4–9° Celsius. A yellow level of danger has also been declared for the Kyiv region.
Forecasters urge drivers to be as careful as possible, choose a safe speed, and avoid sudden maneuvers due to significant deterioration in visibility.
