A new initiative has been introduced in Ukraine, according to which young men under the age of 25, who receive a general citizen passport, will automatically enter the military register. This decision caused a wide resonance in society and became the subject of discussion among young people and experts.
In particular, those who went abroad are reported by the Donetsk Regional TCC, referring to the Cabinet of Ministers' resolution.
"Young people between the ages of 17 and 25 will be able to register as conscripts without the need to visit territorial recruiting centers and pass a medical examination. Information will be automatically collected from other state registers, which will save time for both TCC employees and the conscripts themselves," the military commissariat said.
Also, "young people from 16 to 25 years old who issue a passport will automatically be entered in the Register of Protected Persons without the need to pass a military medical commission." This also applies to those who live abroad.
The TCC clarifies that it will check the validity of the documents of the young men who have left through the migration service.
