Who is Olga Selykh and why her appointment Ambassador to Oman raises questions

Against the background of the war, the diplomatic isolation of Russia and the need to strengthen international presence, Ukraine unexpectedly appointed a new Sultanate Oman - Olga Selykh. However, her biography and declarations raised a number of questions, both in journalists and among the diplomatic environment. After all, the new representative of Ukraine has never worked in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and its past is closely linked to construction tenders, private companies and potential violations of anti -corruption legislation.

Olga Selykh is not a career diplomat. Her work began in 2008, when she headed Kyiv Invest-Bud LLC, a company that specialized in construction work and has repeatedly participated in state tenders. Subsequently, she also managed Global Bud-Project LLC, and now owns another company-International Trading Company. All these firms are registered at one address in Kiev.

Journalists of the International Detective Bureau of ABSSION have found that the village is associated with a number of tenders won for repairs, in particular for the State Agency of Ukrinform. Additional suspicion is caused by regular victorious rotation in the procurement between the companies of the village and the firm of her sister Lyudmila Dyakova-LLC "Electro-Trading Ukraine".

The only connection between the village with the international sphere is the completion of short -term courses at the Gennady Udvenko Diplomatic Academy. She did not carry out any diplomatic or analytical work in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Nevertheless, it was appointed ambassador to a country of great importance in the field of Middle East diplomacy, contact with West and Logistics.

The most issues are raised by the Declaration of the villagers for 2023. It indicated only 150 thousand UAH of salary received in the ACMB "Liberty Lux", where he works as a deputy chairman of the board. At the same time, business or consulting profits are not a word.

However, the list of declared property demonstrates a completely different level of abundance:

  • apartment in Kiev (96.9 m²) - UAH 1.9 million;

  • non -residential premises in the capital - UAH 2.8 million;

  • plots of land in Volyn - over UAH 680 thousand;

  • Toyota Camry 2017 - 874 thousand UAH;

  • Italian Giorgio Collection furniture - 383 thousand UAH.

Given the discrepancy between assets and official income, experts do not exclude that NAPC or National Police may open proceedings on the presentation of false data.

In the social networks of the village it is signed on a number of Russian pages: "Women's Paradise", "I am happy", "The world for you", as well as - the page of Russian psychologist Mikhail Labkovsky. Although the fact itself is not a crime, but in a full -scale war with Russia, it is at least anxiety about the information hygiene of the future diplomat.
