On April 15, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine agreed to the Major General of Police Oleg Grigorov for the post of head of Sumy Regional State Administration. Now the queue for Vladimir Zelensky - the President must sign the appropriate order. Who is Grigorov and what about him is known - the main thing was collected.
Oleg Grigorov's career is closely linked to the northeast and eastern regions of Ukraine. At one time, he held the position of Deputy Chief of the National Police of the National Police in Sumy Oblast. He was later transferred to Zaporizhzhya to a similar position, and then - to Luhansk region, where he headed the police of the region already in the status of Chief of SUNP.
In August 2024, President Zelensky awarded Grigorov the title of third -rank police. After that, it retained its impact on key regions, including border regions, which became especially relevant in war.
At the time of the declaration in January 2025, Oleg Grigorov declared two apartments - one in Sumy in joint ownership with Lyudmila Grigorov, the second - in Kiev, which he leases from the owner of Alexander Sachko.
Formally, the General indicated a hostel in Zaporozhye, owned by the National University of Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic.
The Grigorov motor park looks good: he has Audi Q7 (2016), with his wife-Mazda CX-5 in 2021, the total market value of both cars reaches about UAH 2 million.

Grigorov's purpose looks logical in terms of security - Sumy region borders Russia and is critical for border defense. His experience in Lugansk and Zaporizhzhya regions also works for him.
At the same time, the question of the efficiency of the newly appointed leader in the conditions of rear corruption, humanitarian challenges and military mobilization remains open. In anticipation of the presidential signature - the full responsibility for the region is already beginning to concentrate around the figure of Grigorov.
