The Globynskyi District Court of Poltava Region delivered a verdict in a domestic violence case that occurred in the village of Zhuky on the night of June 27.
At around 2 a.m., a fight broke out between a security guard at a local company and his ex-wife. The man scolded the woman for her alcohol abuse and used insults. As a result, the victim suffered psychological pressure and emotional distress.
In court, the accused pleaded guilty and agreed to the case be heard without his presence. The victim did not appear at the hearing.
The judge found the man guilty of domestic violence under Part 1 of Article 173-2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses and imposed an administrative fine of UAH 340. Additionally, the violator was charged a court fee of UAH 605.60.
The fine must be paid within 15 days of receiving the decision, otherwise you will have to pay double the amount. The decision can be appealed to the Poltava Court of Appeal within ten days.
