The husband of Ukrainian MP Natalia Pipa works as a computer science teacher at a Lviv lyceum and has a deferral from military service, according to the Lviv City Council's response to a request from Ukrainian News.
According to the information provided, Andriy Rushchak was officially employed as a teacher in 2023. At the end of the year, he declared 107 thousand hryvnias in salary, which averages about 9 thousand hryvnias per month, including taxes and mandatory fees.
The city council's response states that during 2023, Ruschak worked 200 working days. On average, this amounts to a little more than two weeks of work per month. It is also reported that last year he was on vacation for a total of two months.
In addition, Andriy Ruschak received 3 thousand hryvnias in state aid in 2023. His wife, People's Deputy Natalia Pipa, also received a one-time payment of one thousand hryvnias within the framework of the relevant state support program.
At the same time, according to open declarations, Natalia Pipa received over 3 million hryvnias in income from the sale of real estate in 2023. Public attention to this situation is also drawn to the fact that the deputy previously proposed initiatives to restrict the use of the Russian language in the educational environment.
The husband of the People's Deputy was employed at Lyceum No. 93 of the Lviv City Council in 2023. The official response does not detail the reasons for granting a deferral from mobilization.
