In the Lviv region, law enforcement officers have exposed the head of a farm who illegally occupied communal land plots. This was reported by the Lviv Regional Prosecutor's Office.
The investigation established that the suspect used six agricultural land plots in one of the communities of Stryi district without any permits. The total area of the illegally cultivated land exceeds 56 hectares.
The farmer plowed these plots and sowed them with soybeans, making a profit. The prosecutor's office noted that the territorial community suffered losses in the amount of almost 270 thousand hryvnias.
However, the suspect compensated for these losses in full during the investigation. The pre-trial investigation is ongoing, and the final decision on liability will be made by the court.
