The Main Directorate of the National Police in the Odessa region has announced suspicion against the former head of the Department of Engineering Protection of the City Territory and Coastal Development of the Odessa City Council. She is accused of declaring false information, which falls under Part 1 of Article 366-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
According to the NACP, in the declarations for 2022 and 2023, the former gardener did not indicate information about a significant list of property and assets belonging to her. Among them are eight land plots in Mykolaiv and Odessa regions, two vehicles, corporate rights in three companies, as well as over 2 million hryvnias of income.
In addition, the woman did not declare two apartments: her own in the Odessa region with an area of over 44.7 sq. m and a cost of over 609 thousand UAH and an apartment in Odessa with an area of over 74.8 sq. m, a cost of almost 900 thousand UAH, which she gave to her son.
The total amount of inaccurate information indicated in the documents is almost UAH 9.5 million.
The investigation is currently ongoing, and the criminal proceedings are under the procedural guidance of the prosecutor's office. If found guilty, the former official faces up to two years in prison with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions.
