Czech police have found the body of 22-year-old Andrijana Ofrim from Transcarpathia, who had been missing for over two weeks. This was reported on the Facebook page of the village of Kobyletska Polyana, citing the deceased's father.
The girl's body was found by law enforcement officers in the city of Frýdek-Místek, where she was last seen. Andrijana was put on the wanted list on November 21. According to Czech police, the suspect in the man's murder has already been detained and has confessed to the crime.
"After the necessary procedural and administrative measures, the girl's body will be handed over to the family and delivered to Ukraine for burial," the statement said.
According to journalist Vitaliy Glagola, Andriyana Ofrim was from the village of Kobyletska Polyana, Rakhiv district. She was in the Czech Republic working. The reasons for the murder are currently unknown.
Recall that earlier, on August 22, 2025, in the American city of Charlotte, North Carolina, a 23-year-old Ukrainian woman, Iryna Zarutska, was killed on a train. On the same day, law enforcement officers detained a suspect in the crime, 34-year-old homeless DeCarlos Brown Jr., who had previously served time for other crimes.
