In Khmelnytskyi region, a priest beat a man to death: the prosecutor's office provided details

In the Khmelnytskyi region, law enforcement officers have detained a 46-year-old priest suspected of murdering his husband, the regional prosecutor's office reported.

The tragedy occurred on the territory of a monastery in the city of Starokostyantyniv. According to the investigation, the priest was intoxicated and started a verbal conflict with a 51-year-old man. The argument quickly escalated into a fight - the suspect began to inflict numerous blows with his hands and feet on his opponent.

The victim died at the scene from his injuries.

The priest was arrested and taken into custody without bail. He has now been informed of the suspicion.

The man faces up to 10 years in prison for the crime.
