Russian troops made local promotion in several directions of the front, including the north of Sumy region, the area of Liman in Donetsk region and the Pokrovsky district. This is evidenced by a new report of the American Institute for War Study (ISW).
In particular, the analysts managed to geolocatively confirm the promotion of Russian units in the area of the settlement of Vorachyne, located in the north of Sumy region. At the same time, information on full control of the village has not been confirmed at this time.
In the direction of Liman, the enemy intensified offensive actions. According to ISW, the Russian forces captured Lipov and advanced southwest from it. It is also reported to assure the Ukrainian positions near the Temporal Yar and the Popal Yar. At the same time, Ukrainian units have succeeded in the same direction - in the Diliyivka area.
In the Pokrovsky direction, hostilities were recorded near the settlements of the cherry, sandy, habit and on the approaches to Pokrovsk. Despite the pressure, the Ukrainian defense forces hold key positions and control the situation, emphasize analysts.
On the Southern Front, the Russians recently advanced northeast of the Little Tokmachka in the Zaporozhye region. And in the Kherson region, despite attempts by the assault, the enemy had no success.
In general, the situation on the front remains tense, with the dynamics of changes in individual areas. The Ukrainian forces continue to defend strategically important boundaries, while the increase of hostile pressure in the area of active fighting is being fixed.
