The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine appointed Oleksandr Pertsovskyi as the new chairman of the board of Ukrzaliznytsia for a period of three years. This was reported by the company's press service. Until now, Pertsovsky worked for the company since 2020 and was responsible for the passenger direction, holding the position of a member of the board.
This decision was made after Yevhen Lyashchenko, who held the position of chairman of the board since March 2023, submitted an application for early termination of his powers. At the same time, Lyashchenko will remain working as a member of the board until the end of the contract.
At the same time, Ukrzaliznytsia also announced the dismissal of three board members — Volodymyr Krot, Orest Logunov, and Anton Mishin.
Pertsovsky's appointment is part of the renewal of the management team of the company, which continues to play a key role in providing the transport infrastructure of Ukraine.
