The Cabinet introduced additional vacation days for the military for destroyed enemy equipment

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted a decision on a new incentive for servicemen for the successful performance of combat missions and the destruction of enemy equipment. In addition to the already established additional payment in the amount of 70 thousand hryvnias for those who perform combat tasks on the front line, now the military will be able to receive additional vacation days.

Thus, the government decree stipulates that the following are destroyed:

  • ship + 5 days before vacation;
  • plane + 5 days;
  • anti-aircraft missile complex + 4 days;
  • SAU or RSZV + 3 days;
  • helicopter + 4 days;
  • tank + 3 days;
  • amphibious assault vehicle, armored personnel carrier, command and staff vehicle, BMP, artillery system + 3 days;
  • other armored vehicles or trucks + 2 days;
  • Air defense radar + 4 days;
  • means of counter-battery + 2 days;
  • means REB + 2 days;
  • light UAVs + 1 day;
  • medium UAVs + 2 days;
  • heavy UAVs + 3 days;
  • cruise or ballistic missile + 3 days;
  • a complex of long-range visual observation + 4 days;
  • means of radio-electronic intelligence + 2 days.

Confirmation of the destroyed equipment can be entries in combat logs, a commander's report, a video recording. At the request of the serviceman, such leave can be granted simultaneously with the annual basic leave. It should be noted that the total duration of additional leave should not exceed 15 calendar days per year and unused days are not carried over to the new year.
