The head of the State Tax Service of Ukraine, Ruslan Kravchenko, continues to make personnel changes in the system. This time, the heads of two regional offices and five departments of the central office were dismissed. This became known from the statement of the head of the DPS.
Who was affected by the layoffs?
Among the dismissed heads of regional offices:
- The head of the DPS GU in the city of Kyiv.
- Head of State Department of State Police in Cherkasy region.
The heads of the following departments were dismissed in the central office:
- transfer pricing,
- legal security,
- tax audit,
- prevention and detection of corruption,
- economic analysis.
These measures became the next stage in the process of reforming the tax service, which began with the appointment of Kravchenko. The main goal of personnel decisions is to increase the efficiency of the DPS, fight against corruption, and eliminate systemic problems.
Earlier, on January 7, Kravchenko held a meeting with regional heads of the tax service, where he announced key tasks. Among the priorities were stopping the unjustified blocking of tax invoices and optimizing the work of the service.
Personnel reshuffles in the tax service cause lively discussions among the business community and experts. Real changes in the work of the tax system, which has been repeatedly criticized for its lack of transparency and low efficiency, are expected from the dismissal of the heads of central departments and regions.
It is expected that Ruslan Kravchenko will continue to initiate changes in the DPS, as reforming the tax service is one of the key tasks for increasing Ukraine's investment attractiveness and reducing corruption risks.
