In the Rivne region, a large -scale appropriation of funds was exposed, which was involved in the head of the post office in Zarichne village. The woman organized a scheme of theft of public funds, which causes hundreds of citizens, mostly pensioners.
As militiamen reported, at first the woman forged official documents on payment of pensions, taking possession of more than 600 thousand hryvnias. After exposing and removing from office, she did not stop - under the pretext of assistance to the postal employees, she again received access to financial flows.
Re -using the same scheme, the malefactor appropriated another 1.1 million hryvnias. The total amount of stolen funds reached 2 million 633 thousand hryvnias. Among the victims are more than 350 people, most of whom are the elderly who relied on retirement and social payments.
In the course of the pre -trial investigation, the woman partially reimbursed the losses, returning 600 thousand hryvnias. The rest of the amount should be compensated at the expense of the arrested property of the accused.
The case was transferred to court. Law enforcement officers qualify the actions of women as a forgery of documents and seizure of funds by abuse of office in particularly large amounts.
