The executive director of the State Enterprise "Forest of Ukraine" Igor Ltsiuri was suspected of negligence, which caused millions of losses to the state. This was reported by the National Police of Ukraine.
The investigation found that Litsura concluded a contract for the purchase of 11 tractors for a total amount of UAH 15.9 million. The technical documentation for the equipment lists the false characteristics that did not correspond to the real condition of the machines. Nevertheless, Litsura did not initiate checks of quality and suitability of equipment, but instead signed an order to accept tractors on the balance of branches of the enterprise.
As a result of such actions, the state budget suffered direct losses in the amount of UAH 1.6 million. In addition to the official, the director of the supplier of the equipment was suspected-his actions were qualified as a specialty in carelessness.
Investigative actions are currently underway.
In addition to this case, Igor Litsura has already got into the field of view of journalists. In particular, it was reported that he did not declare the cost of teaching his children at a prestigious private school, where children of Ukrainian politicians and businessmen studied. Declarations do not specify the cost of education, which may indicate other violations of anti -corruption legislation.
