The analyst of the German publication BILD, Julian Röpke, made a sharp statement regarding the new "Victory Plan" presented by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi. On his page in the social network X (formerly Twitter), he criticized the main points of the plan, stressing that all key proposals have already been rejected by Western partners.
"There will be no accession to NATO, there will be no permission to strike deep into Russia with Western weapons, there will be no joint anti-aircraft defense against Russian aircraft. And the complete liberation of the country is not even mentioned. There are no words," said Röpke.
Analysis of the plan: no real change on the battlefield
Röpke emphasized that the main problem of the presented "Victory Plan" is the lack of real points that could cause a breakthrough at the front. In his opinion, every key proposal of the plan has already been rejected by Ukraine's international partners, which makes its implementation unlikely.
"There is not a single item in the plan that could actually lead to a fracture on the battlefield," he emphasized.
The main points of Zelensky's plan
President Zelenskyy presented the "Victory Plan" in the Verkhovna Rada. The document consists of five main points and three secret appendices. Among the main offers:
- Immediate invitation of Ukraine to NATO.
- Continuation of military operations of the Ukrainian army on the territory of Russia.
- Deploying a "comprehensive non-nuclear strategic deterrence package" in Ukraine to protect against threats from Russia.
- Proposal for international partners on joint protection of critical resources of Ukraine.
- Joint investment in critical security areas.
Prospects for implementation and the reaction of experts
According to Zelenskyi, if we proceed according to this plan, we can hope for the end of the war by the end of next year. However, criticism from experts, including Julian Röpke, questions the practicality of such forecasts. The analyst notes that many of the proposed points do not have the support of Western allies, which makes the implementation of the plan extremely difficult.
