The former Odessa activist and blogger Stas Dombrovsky Switzerland recently , has published a video address to Ukrainians. In it he apologized for his previous actions and recognized the spread of destructive content.
The video was posted on his social networks, but most of his accounts have already been blocked due to violation of the platform rules.
In his address, Dombrovsky noted that he overestimated his behavior and repels for words and actions that could offend people and harm. “Dear subscribers, the people I offended, I want to give you my apologies for the whole tinsel, bravado, for having won during this time, for what I did. I do it sincerely and heartily, ”he said.
We will remind that in Ukraine Stas Dombrovsky is wanted on charges in hooliganism committed by a group of persons (Article 296 Part 2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). According to law enforcement officers, it is involved in several incidents that were destructive and violated public order.
After the start of a full -scale invasion of Ukraine, Dombrovsky went to Switzerland, where he continued his blogger activity. He actively published materials that blamed Ukrainian officials and security forces without evidence. This caused great indignation among the Ukrainian community, as its publications were often manipulative and harming the image of the state.
It is known that Dombrovsky had problems with drugs in his youth and repeatedly had conviction. In his native Odessa, he was known not only as a blogger, but also as a poet and activist who participated in custom actions. His public life and behavior have caused a lot of controversy and criticism from the public.
As of 2025, most Dombrovsky's social networks are blocked due to the spread of destructive content. Many Ukrainians do not accept his apology, considering his late repentance an attempt to justify his actions after his publicity began to fade through the lock of accounts.
Although Dombrovsky is trying to justify his actions, many in Ukraine believe that his apology is late. At the same time, this case raises the issue of liability of bloggers and the impact of their activity on public opinion, especially in times of war, when misinformation can cause serious harm.
