Former co -owner of Privatbank Bogolyubov fled from Ukraine with a foreign passport and lives in Vienna

The former co -owner of Privatbank Gennady Bogolyubov, who is associated with the withdrawal of billions from the Ukrainian budget, has been living in Vienna for almost a year. Its history of escape from Ukraine - as an instruction on bypassing laws during martial law. Despite the public promises of the authorities to “hold” nor suspicions or the cases from the economic security bureau.

The journalists of "Ukrainian Truth" recorded Bogolyubov in the Fushebel district of Vienna. Nearby is a private security, which recently called the police due to the emergence of a shooting group. Near his house is a familiar car with Ukrainian numbers - the same as the oligarch, according to the investigation, was taken out of Kiev to the station in June 2024.

As the journalists were able to find out, the departure of Bogolyubov from Ukraine was organized by former Deputy Foreign Minister Emine Dzhaparova. It was she who delivered him to the station, from where he sat on the train Kyiv - a hill. But the main thing-the oligarch used the passport of a completely different person-67-year-old Nicholas Sumak from Volyn. The excerpt from the base confirms that he left the country on the day when Bogolyubov "disappeared."

On the basis of these data, the suspicion of the border guard has already been reported, who "did not notice" the person's substitution. Bogolyubov himself assures that he did not violate the law, they say, he has five minor children and 62 years. But the documents do not show it.

In February 2025, sanctions were imposed against Bogolyubov - the grounds for involvement in large -scale financial frauds became grounds. It is, in particular, about the equipment with PrivatBank funds that were appeared in the Kroll reports and the NBU audit.

However, despite the resonance and pressure of the public, the Bureau of Economic Security did not open any criminal proceedings against Bogolyubov himself. Moreover, the Beb stated that they are currently “collecting materials”.

In April, the Chamber of Appeal should consider Bogolyubov's announcement on the international wanted list. In the case of a positive decision, the documents will be transferred to Interpol. But the oligarch's lawyers are already preparing a new protection line, referring to "citizenship discrimination."

Despite the sanctions and escape, Bogolyubov feels quite confident in Vienna. He is regularly seen in the office in the business quarter of the city, where he moves with guards. He does not give any comments to journalists, referring to the "advice of lawyers".

According to the investigation of Michael Tkach, the elite real estate in which the oligarch lives, decorated with an offshore company. The security works on the spot, and journalists' attempts to ask questions end with the arrival of the police.
