The former acting director of the Khotyn National Nature Park in Chernivtsi region was informed of a new suspicion. About it reports the territorial department of the State Bureau of Investigation in Khmelnitsky.
Investigators of the DBR found that in 2023 the official repeatedly numbered himself and several dozen employees. Payments were made without agreement with the financial department and without any substantiated accounting documents. The total amount of illegally paid funds amounted to about 400 thousand hryvnias. This led to a financial shortage in the budget of the National Park.
According to the investigation, today the former leader has already returned half of this amount. Work on compensation for all damages continues.
He was informed of suspicion under Part 4 of Art. 191 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - the misappropriation of other people's property by abuse of office in large amounts, committed in the conditions of martial law. The sanction of this article provides for up to 8 years in prison.
We will remind that earlier this official was detained during a bribe of $ 65 thousand. For these funds, he agreed the documents for the transfer to the long -term lease of land within the park in order to arrange the recreation center. This case is currently being considered by the Supreme Anti -Corruption Court.
The official was released immediately after the exposition. The procedural guidance in the case is carried out by the Chernivtsi Regional Prosecutor's Office.
