DBR employees exposed the commander of one of the military units of the Odessa region, who in fact turned subordinates into a construction team for their own needs. For four months, four servicemen did not perform combat tasks, but were engaged in repair of housing designed for the mother of a civilian wife.
According to the investigation, from December 2024 to April 2025 the military performed internal work in Podilsk: put a tile, putty walls, installed plumbing. Despite this, the commander continued to make them combat payments. As a result of such actions, the state has caused losses of over UAH 500,000.
The cynicism adds that at that time, other military from the units of the same part served on the front line.
The commander was detained directly in the apartment where the repair continued. He was informed of suspicion. The pre -trial investigation is ongoing.
