In the upcoming plenary weeks, the Verkhovna Rada may consider a number of personnel issues, as the government has several vacant positions. Oleksandr Kornienko, the first deputy chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, stated this during a telethon.
Kornienko emphasized the readiness to make personnel decisions and expressed his belief that some of these issues can be resolved in the coming weeks. He pointed to the example of the quick release of Oleksandr Kubrakov, which, in his opinion, was not planned in detail.
The government vice-speaker also noted that some positions in the government have been held temporarily for a long time, in particular in the fields of sports, culture, veterans, and agriculture. According to him, Kubrakov's dismissal was connected with the need to form new ministries.
Regarding potential candidates for leadership positions in the newly created ministries, Kornienko noted that there are currently no specific candidates, however, this issue may be resolved in the near future, when the monomajority submits its proposals, which will be considered by the government and the Verkhovna Rada.
