A petition has appeared on the website of the Kyiv City Council with a request to resume the work of the Kyiv Champagne Wine Factory (KZShV). The authors of the petition propose to buy back, repair the equipment and resume the production of well-known varieties of champagne wines, such as "Semi-sweet", "Muscatne bile", "Brut" and "Zolote".
The authors of the initiative emphasize that KZShV is a descendant of the rich traditions of Ukrainian winemaking, and its products have always been a symbol of quality and delicious drinks. They believe that the restoration of the plant will contribute to the development of local production, the popularization of Ukrainian drinks and the provision of real champagne to consumers, which is not inferior to world standards.
As the authors of the petition note, the shelves of Ukrainian stores are now dominated by little-known brands of champagne wines that do not meet high quality standards. They are sure that low-quality drinks not only harm the health of consumers, but also do not create an atmosphere of celebration and inspiration.
"Let's return the delicious and well-known varieties of champagne wines to the festive table," Kyivans call.
The petition is gaining popularity among local residents, because many of them have fond memories of the delicious champagne produced at the Kyiv factory. This can be not only a step towards the restoration of traditional production, but also an important contribution to the development of the Ukrainian beverage market.
Time will tell whether the Kyiv City Council will support this call. However, it can already be said that the demand for quality Ukrainian champagne remains high.
