Famous Ukrainian actress Larisa Kadochnikova, who once played Marichka in the legendary film "Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors," has publicly shared details of her personal life for the first time. After a high-profile scandal at the beginning of the year related to her refusal to switch to Ukrainian, the star has found herself in the center of new attention - now due to a personal confession.
The 82-year-old actress admitted that she has been in a civil marriage with a lawyer named Andrey for six years. Her chosen one is 25 years younger than her. The couple met after the death of Kadochnikova's second husband, when she sought legal help. Over time, professional communication grew into a close relationship.
“He is really younger. Handsome, very smart and incredibly patriotic. I didn't even expect that he would be so worried about the fate of Ukraine, to help. I am very proud of him,” the actress shared in an interview.
Kadochnikova admits that Andriy is a difficult person with a character, but this does not scare her: “I generally come across men with character in my life.”.
The actress also noted that she does not intend to formalize the marriage yet: "We have been together for six years. We have not officially formalized our relationship yet. I don't know, we'll see how it goes. Later I realized that the stamp in the passport is not the main thing. What is more important is what happens in the relationship.".
Recall, Larisa Kadochnikova was married twice. Her first husband was film director Yuri Ilyenko, with whom the actress lived for 18 years. The second time she married Mikhail Saranchuk - their marriage lasted more than three decades until his death in 2014.
