Lviv will be tried by anesthesiology, who is accused of the death of a five-year-old boy after dental treatment. This was reported by the Lviv Regional Prosecutor's Office.
The tragedy occurred in December 2023 during the removal of milk teeth in a private clinic of Lviv. During the procedure, the child fell into a coma and for almost a month died, and without having come to mind.
The investigation found that the anesthesia doctor had no proper education and qualification for working with children. She has misunderstood the tactics of anesthesiological support, which led to the serious consequences and death of the baby.
In addition, it was found that in August 2023 the doctor received a fake certificate in the specialty "Pediatric anesthesiology" and a certificate of advanced training. She used these documents for employment and treatment of children in a private clinic.
She has been charged with several articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, in particular:

treatment of citizens without special permission and proper education, which led to grave consequences (Article 138 of the Criminal Code);

improper performance of professional duties by a health worker (Part 2 of Article 140 of the Criminal Code);

forgery and use of counterfeit documents (Part 5 of Article 27, Part 3 of Article 358, Part 4 of Article 358 of the Criminal Code).
For these crimes, physicians are threatened with restraint of up to five years or up to three years in prison with a possible deprivation of the right to work up to three years.
The pre -trial investigation was carried out by investigators of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Lviv Oblast.
