The forestry of Korosten Forestry of the State Enterprise "Forests of Ukraine" Andriy Vasyukhnik, the son of the director of the branch "Luginsk Forestry" Yuri Vasyukhnik, declared the car BMW 520D for 300 thousand hryvnias, which looks significantly lower than the market value of the same model.
According to his declaration for 2024, the official does not own real estate - only uses an apartment in the village of Lugini, which is registered with a citizen of Bohdan Babychka. There is no data on the area of the dwelling, which makes it impossible to correctly assess the property status.
At the same time, Vasyukhnik declared cash in the amount of UAH 590 thousand - which is almost twice exceeding his annual wage (UAH 356 thousand). This raises doubts about the transparency of the sources of the origin of these savings.
Among the family members in the declaration indicated only the father - the head of another branch of the forestry, Yuri Vasyukhnik. The lack of mention of a wife or children, if any, may indicate either the real marital status or the evasion of the full declaration of family income.
In 2022, Andriy Vasyukhnik purchased a BMW 520D car 2011 for 300 thousand UAH. This price is lower than the average market even for a car with mileage and raises additional questions.
In December 2024, Vasyukhnik became a participant in an accident in Lutsk with the participation of this machine. As a result of the incident, administrative fines under Art. 124 and Part 1 of Art. 139 KUPAP.
Earlier, journalists reported that the unemployed wife of the former head of the Emilchyn forestry (probably from the Vasyukhnik family) declared $ 56 thousand savings, which also caused resonance in the media.
