Prosecutors of the Prosecutor General's Office have sent an indictment to the court against Lviv businessman Ihor Grynkevich on the fact of an attempt to provide an illegal benefit to the head of the State Bureau of Investigation.
According to a message in the Telegram channel, Hrynkevich tried to bribe the head of the Main Investigative Department of the State Security Bureau, offering $500,000 to organize the return of the property, which is currently at the "Chaika" customs post of the Kyiv Customs. During the transfer of funds, he was detained by law enforcement officers, and he is currently in custody.
In addition, Ihor Grynkevich is suspected of committing other crimes, in particular, in the case of the supply of low-quality military clothing to the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the amount of almost 1 billion hryvnias. As part of this proceeding, five persons were suspected of creating and participating in a criminal organization, as well as of taking possession of someone else's property by breach of trust in martial law conditions and in particularly large amounts.
