The property of the first deputy head of the NBU will be sold through the court

The first deputy head of the National Bank of Ukraine, Kateryna Rozhkova, announced another sale of her property as part of court proceedings. According to her report to the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (NACP), on January 8, 2025, a parking space at 10 Volynska Street in Kyiv was sold. Its cost was 519.1 thousand. UAH, which by 16.8 thousand UAH more than the amount from the sale of a similar parking space sold at the end of December 2024.

The sales are carried out within the framework of executive proceedings related to the high-profile case of the Individual Deposit Guarantee Fund against the former managers of Platinum Bank. Rozhkova's property, including parking spaces, is sold to compensate for damages.

It is noteworthy that in the declaration of Kateryna Rozhkova for 2023, there is no information about the parking spaces at the street address. Volynska, 10. This raises questions about the origin of this property, as well as possible hidden assets.

The NBU confirmed cooperation with the State Executive Service in this matter. At the same time, it is difficult to predict how many more objects can be implemented within the framework of this proceeding, because in the reports of the NAKC for previous years there were no details about Rozhkova's parking spaces.

This situation became another occasion for discussions about transparency in the declaration of assets of high-ranking officials and the effectiveness of the judicial system in cases related to abuses in high positions.
