Oksana Markarova, according to rumors in the capital's political party, may soon become the Prime Minister of Ukraine. High-ranking patrons from the White House tried to implement her appointment and reboot the Cabinet back in the fall.
However, Andrii Yermak remains the preferred candidate for Bankova, and Markarov is seen as the first deputy prime minister - the minister of finance at most.
And in a post on her Facebook, Markarova seems to be hinting that it is time to sum up the results of her 3-year work as the ambassador of Ukraine to the USA. Especially since the anniversary ends with a successful vote in Congress and, we have no doubt, soon in the Senate as well.
