People's Deputy Maryana Bezugla decided not to stop at public criticism of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrsky, and filed a complaint against him with the State Bureau of Investigation.
She reported this on Telegram, accusing the chief of the committee of obstructing the activities of the people's deputy.
“I am filing a complaint with the State Bureau of Investigation regarding the violation by Syrsky, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, of Article 351 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, namely, obstruction of the activities of a people's deputy of Ukraine. “Failure by an official to fulfill the lawful requirements of a people's deputy of Ukraine, a deputy of a local council, creating artificial obstacles in their work, providing them with knowingly false information. Punishable by a fine of one thousand to two thousand tax-free minimum incomes of citizens or probationary supervision for a term of up to three years, or restriction of liberty for the same term. Enough lies,” she wrote.
Bezugla reported that she was allegedly denied access to the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine located in the frontline zone, and published a photo of the relevant orders.![]()

In late May, Bezugla said that Oleksandr Syrsky had not responded to her appeals for several months and was ignoring “critical problems.” She accused him of “concealing the truth, splitting units, manual control, Russian cruelty, and burning out all competitors and creatives in the army.” She also spoke critically of other military leaders.
