People's Deputy Marian Bezlag has recently publicly stated that she was suffering from Asperger's syndrome. This statement caused a wave of discussions not only in political but also in medical circles. Some of the psychiatrists doubt the truth of such confessions, and the syndrome itself is a serious chronic violation of the autistic spectrum, which is officially considered incurable.

However, the Ministry of Justice registered a new order of the Ministry of Health and SBU №987/235 of 20.06.2025, according to which from the list of mental illness, which can harm state secrets, the category F8 ***, including F84, will be removed.
The physician stressed that if this diagnosis is indeed there is, then "to work as a deputy chairman of the Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence, she had no right, that is, it was a violation." He added that the people's deputy should be on medical records.
