Lack of motivation and elementary coordination are the main reasons for why the military leaves without permission, that is, they find themselves in the category of HRC (unauthorized release of part). This was told in an interview with Radio Liberty by military physician Gleb Bitiukov.
According to him, in the first months of the Great War, the army went consciously - there were queues to the military enlistment offices. But the first wave of mobilized mobilized has long been exhausted. Now people who have neither proper motivation nor preparation are included in the front. They often do not even explain the basic things - who is their commander, where to go and what to do.
“They are just taken, they are thrown into positions - and that's it. A person does not understand where he got. There are two planets between the landfill and the front, ”the doctor said.
Another problem Bityukov calls the failure in moral and psychological support. According to the physician, the position of deputy commander with the MFA is often performed formally, and almost no one works with fighters. And the commanders on the ground are often absent or physically inaccessible: "In some units, people have not even seen their company commander."
Such conditions, according to the military, are demoralized even those who had motivation. And the problem, according to him, is mass.
At the same time, the physician notes that the situation has partially improved the cancellation of criminal liability for the military who left unauthorized parts but want to return. Now that you can do this without the risk of persecution, some of the fighters are returning.
