The situation in the Ukrainian energy system remains quite complex, but balanced and controlled. This was announced by First Deputy Minister of Energy Yuriy Sheyko on the air of the telethon.
Today, as of this morning, the situation in the system is balanced, controlled, but remains rather complicated. We do not expect any restrictions today, nor are there any plans for the morning. We work in a balanced mode throughout the territory of Ukraine. But, I want to note that the damage that Russia caused us with its shelling and attacks on the energy system of Ukraine made it difficult for our energy system to work
According to him, the worst situation remains in the border regions: Donetsk, Kherson, Kharkiv and Sumy.
Over the past day, civilian energy infrastructure in six regions of Ukraine came under enemy fire. In particular, in the Ivano-Frankivsk region, an object of industrial infrastructure was damaged as a result of an attack by enemy UAVs. Today, September 13, no blackouts are planned in Ukraine.
On September 12, shutdowns were also not foreseen. However, due to cloudy weather, which reduced the energy efficiency of SES from 13:00 to midnight in Kyiv and 16 regions of Ukraine, stabilization blackouts were introduced.
