On Saturday, January 13, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov called on citizens to join the "People's Drone" project. The initiative, supported by Dignitas Technology Assistance Fund and Victory Drones, offers free engineering courses to assemble 7-inch FPV drones at home
Mykhailo Fedorov shared information about the home production of drones on his Facebook page. Participants will get access to lectures, the ability to communicate with lecturers via Zoom, a list of required components and tools, as well as support from the engineering community.
After participants assemble the drones, they are sent to Victory Drones instructors for quality inspection and testing. If the test is successful, the drone is handed over to the military. Courses start every two weeks and are absolutely free.
Mykhailo Fedorov reported that the cadets have already handed over 100 drones to the military, of which more than 80% have successfully passed the standard compliance check. The rest needed additional refinement. The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that such a high efficiency index is very significant for the pilot assembly.
The minister also noted that dozens of Brave1 cluster projects have already received state contracts. He encouraged anyone with innovations that could help our soldiers and make a difference on the battlefield to join Brave1 and receive a grant.
