The Minister of Defense of Poland, Mariusz Blaszczak, said that Ukraine shows a "short memory" in relations with Poland, regarding support in the conditions of Russian aggression. In addition, he stated that Warsaw will not get involved in the war on the territory of Ukraine, despite the significant military and humanitarian aid that Poland provides to Ukraine.
Judging by his words, Kyiv demands the participation of the West in the war on the side of the Armed Forces and criticizes Warsaw for insufficient assistance.
"Memory is short, because if it weren't for Polish aid in the first months of the war, there would be neither military equipment nor humanitarian aid... Both Ukraine and President Zelensky have a short memory. I understand his emotions, I understand the situation he is in. But it cannot be said that Poland is not doing everything possible. Poland has done and continues to do everything possible. But there is a line that I will never cross," said the minister.
According to him, Zelensky demands to "come here, fight here with us. This applies not only to Poland, he is speaking in a broader sense."
But, said Kosyniak-Kamysh, "this is his role, and our role is that there are boundaries that we do not cross."
