Previously, one of the main difficulties faced by the Defense Forces of Ukraine was a serious shortage of ammunition and weapons, including anti-tank missiles, but it seems that this problem will soon be solved by the allied countries. This was announced by First Deputy Head of the Defense Department, Ivan Gavryliuk.
According to Havrylyuk, the units of the Ukrainian defenders suffer from the frequent use by Russian aviation of a large number of guided aerial bombs, which poses a serious threat to personnel and equipment. On average, during one day, the occupiers drop 100 to 120 such aerial bombs on the positions of the Armed Forces, which poses a huge threat.
To eliminate this threat, it is necessary to obtain a sufficient number of modern fighters, primarily F-16, from the partner states, but deliveries of these aircraft are regularly delayed. In addition, Ukraine has problems with artillery shells, where for one Ukrainian ammunition there are five Russian ones.
There is also a critical shortage of means of radio-electronic warfare, which make it possible to silence kamikaze drones and shoot down Russian missiles.
