The appearance of the E-queue system is a reaction to new requirements that arose as a result of the adoption of the new law on mobilization.
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine is actively implementing the digital transformation of most of the services provided by the Territorial Personnel Support Centers and Drafting Services. After the announcement of the launch of an electronic office for conscripts, it became known that the Ministry of Defense will also introduce an "electronic queue" for applications to these centers. This system will be operational soon.
This was reported by the Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine for Digital Development, Digital Transformations and Digitalization Kateryna Chornogorenko in an interview for Radio Liberty. She emphasized that the introduction of such a tool is a response to current challenges, in particular, long queues in front of the Territorial Centers of Personnel Support.
"I believe that in the near future we will be able to introduce an electronic queue for visiting the Territorial centers of personnel support and recruitment services. I think it will happen quite quickly. At least, the team of the Ministry of Defense is already working on it," Chornogorenko said.
The deputy minister also added that before the introduction of the electronic queue, consultations will be held with the specialists of the Territorial Centers of Personnel Support and the Drafting Services, so that the system is convenient for both parties.
To speed up the process of updating the data of conscripted citizens of Ukraine, an E-cabinet will be introduced, which will be available from May 18 this year. It is known that this tool will be available to everyone. It involves downloading a mobile application, authorization in the E-cabinet and filling in the necessary data. However, it is worth noting that summonses are not sent through this program, and registration in it is voluntary, not mandatory.
