The Zaporizhzhya Regional Territorial Center for Acquisition (TCC) stated that men over 50 years of age, as well as those who are considered suitable only for service in the rear, can be sent for fortifications, as well as for drivers, crane and operators.
Previously, a directive was adopted, which restricted the mobilization of men after 50 years-they could only be called for separate mobilization orders and only in the presence of scarce military accounting specialties.
However, a new statement of the representative of the Zaporizhzhya CCC shows that mobilization for this age category can become wider, and even those who do not have special military training can be involved in the fulfillment of the rear tasks.
This decision can significantly change the approaches to the army, since it was emphasized that the age of mobilization has clear restrictions. It is still unknown whether appropriate changes to the legislation will be made.
