The "Reserve+" application, which has already become an instrument of digital interaction between citizens and the Ministry of Defense, will soon receive a significant update. By the end of 2024, 35 new types of delay from mobilization are planned. This was reported by the Deputy Minister of Defense for Digital Development Kateryna Chernnoroenko.
According to her, two new options will appear in the Reserve+in the near future:
-
delay for people with temporary unfitness (for a period of 6 to 12 months);
-
A delay for parents with a child under 18, if one of the spouses is already in the army.
It is worth noting that the function of receiving a delay for people with disabilities who do not have a retirement certificate has recently been working in the application.
"We are gradually gaining a pace to start deferrals systematically. This is a difficult process: we need to integrate data from different registers, synchronize the interaction between the ministries, to work out the logic of confirmation of each type of delay. But we are moving forward," Chernororenko said.
According to her, the goal is complete digitalization of the procedure: without queues in the CCC, without collecting paper certificates and expectations before closed offices. In the future, all types of deferrals provided for by law should be available online - quickly, convenient and transparent.
Also, by the end of the year, the reform of the VLK (military medical commissions) and the introduction of new services-including polls and exercises, which will be available within the Reserve+"are planned.
