Police of the Chernihiv region exposed an interregional organized drugge, which has earned more than UAH 2 million on a monthly basis for drug distribution. This was reported in the regional administration of the National Police.
The criminal group consisted of five young people aged 19 to 23. They organized a full cycle of drug trafficking - stored, packed and prepared drugs for sales in specially rented apartments. The storage sites were regularly changed to complicate the detection.
"During the searches, law enforcement officers seized kilograms of narcotic and psychotropic substances, as well as dozens of so -called" bookmarks "ready for distribution," the police said.
The defendants have been suspected of Article 307 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - large -sized narcotic drugs, repeated. They face up to 12 years in prison with confiscation of property.
Investigative actions are currently underway, the purpose of which is to establish a complete supply chain and other possible participants in criminal activity.
