People's Deputy from "European Solidarity" Oleksiy Honcharenko reported an incident at the Territorial Recruitment Center: a mother-physician with many children was fined UAH 17,000, although she was exempted from registration in 2023.
According to Honcharenko, the woman is a doctor, has been on military service since 2004, and in 2023 received an official summons to be discharged from service due to having many children. Despite this, she was summoned to the Military Medical Center a second time, a violation report was drawn up, a fine of UAH 17,000 was announced, and an additional fine of UAH 18,000 was threatened for refusing to undergo a military medical examination. During the summons, the woman was not allowed to leave the premises of the Military Medical Center, the People's Deputy noted. At the time of the incident, four children were waiting for her at home, and the father was evading payment of alimony.
Honcharenko commented on the situation as "trash" and drew attention to the fact that the woman will be forced to appeal the CCC's decision in court, wasting time and resources instead of being able to take care of her family.
According to media reports, the case was covered on the website "Comments." As of the time of publication, there has been no official comment from the CCC or the Ministry of Defense on this matter.
