Ukraine, with its undoubtedly interesting and complex history, also hides fascinating details in its public transport. In particular, in the capital of the country there are two “ghost” metro stations on the green line – Telichka (or Naddnipryanska) and Lvivska Brama.
Telichka, originally conceived as a technical station in an area with dense industrial development, transformed into a kind of “ghost” as most of the surrounding enterprises ceased their activities.
Lvivska Brama is located in a tunnel between Luk'yanivska and Zoloti Vorota stations. Despite the fact that construction was practically completed in 1997, the plan for its reconstruction was never approved. These amazing relics become a kind of witness to the past and failed plans that remain part of the unique heritage of Ukraine.
