The tragic road accident happened on June 26 at about 17:20 in the village of Borova, Chuguev district, Kharkiv region. The accident was killed by a 17-year-old car driver and a 14-year-old passenger was injured. This was reported in the communications department of the National Police in Kharkiv region.
According to preliminary information, the young man who operated the VAZ-2107 car did not manage. The car flew off the road and spilled over in the field. From the injuries, the driver died on the spot. His 14-year-old friend in the salon was taken to the hospital in serious condition.
Police opened criminal proceedings under Article 286 (2) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - a violation of traffic safety rules, which caused the death of a person. The pre -trial investigation is ongoing. Law enforcement officers establish all the circumstances of the tragedy, in particular how the minor received access to the car.
The police say again that the admission of children to the management of vehicles without the appropriate age and permission is strictly prohibited by law. Parents and guardians should be responsible for the actions of minors and take care of their safety.
This event was another reminder of the danger of non -compliance with traffic rules and irresponsible attitude towards the lives of children.
